Open to life: Life comes as it comes. We do not know what events will arise and impact us. Struggling to stay in charge of what is occurring is exhausting while letting events determine our situation is unwise. The Buddhist Middle Way indicates that we can rest in open awareness while avoiding the extremes of over involvement and under involvement. We will focus on the Dzogchen teachings of relaxing and releasing our habitual patterns of reactivity so that our participation is both spontaneous and precise; contactful yet neither invading nor abandoning.
Message from the Organiser, 27/1/25
The dates are 16 – 21st June. Which means we finish on Summer Solstice. The longest day of light!
The good thing is that means they have accommodation or up to 60 people in the college, plus we will have options for glamping and BYO tent or just come along if your local or in a holiday home. Many options!
This will be the longest retreat we have run in the UK, a great opportunity to dive deep and spend time together.
Apologies to those that booked and can not make the date change, if you have asked for a refund, that will be processed shortly. Just make sure that you definitely can’t make it, as there options to come when you can, for example Thursday to Saturday.
I am just awaiting the relevant booking forms from Emerson, which means there will be a link to book accommodation and food.
I will send this out to everyone and make a webpage for the event when that is ready.
