The Practice of Meditation. Teaching Retreat, Berghof, 2024
July 6 @18:00 - July 14 @13:00 BST
The Practice of Meditation.
This 9 day Retreat will focus on two texts: The Mahamudra Instructions of Tipun Pema Chogyal and Notes on Mahamudra by Padma Karpo. These texts show us how to identify and respond to the many kinds of obstacles that can occur in practice. The aim of the retreat is to enable us to maintain calm, clear awareness whatever occurs. There will be many sessions of meditation practice.
The retreat will start on Saturday 6th July 2024 at 6 p.m. and teachings will end at 1 pm on Sunday 14th July, followed by lunch.
The text will be available in German and English. The teaching will be in English only. Tipun Pema Chogyal was a teacher in the Drukpa Kagyud tradition of Ladakh and a disciple of Shakya Shri.
