We are delighted to announce that the book Sparks is now available for pre-order. This book is a collection of poems and teachings by James Low, highlighting how creative processes emerged throughout his profound path as a teacher and student of Dharma, as well as a psychotherapist. Readers will find both an introduction and an in-depth exploration of the experience of openness and connection inspired by Tibetan Buddhism. In fact, connection is the key theme of this book, whether with one’s own inner wisdom or with others in life.
The book was translated by Aline Carvalho da Costa and its preface is by Professor Alexandre Freitas, from the Postgraduate Programme in Education and Spirituality at UFPE and founder of NEIMFA, the Educational Centre of the Friars Minor of St. Francis of Assisi, located in Coque, Recife. The cover art was created especially for this edition from an original work by photographer Saulo Santiago and woodcut artist Luiza Morgado. The publisher, Meditando Junto, is coordinated by Dharma practitioners and is a non-profit organisation. Faíscas is its third title, following Estando Bem Aqui and O poder curativo da vacuidade, both of which are out of print.
