The Prayer to Padmasambhava which is a great cloud of blessings, Composed by the 5th Dalai Lama
This prayer to Maha Acharya Padmasambhava which is a great cloud of blessing, was composed by the 5th Dalai Lama, Ngag-dBang bLo-bZang rGya-mTsho, under his sobriquet Zahor Gyi Bande, the Monk of Zahor. It was composed at the request of Jang Ling Samdrub Gyalpo in order to help the sadhana practice on the 10th lunar day at the time of the ‘Phrul sNang’ (festival in Lhasa).
