…Saraha is saying cut the root.  The root is the belief in the real existence of entities.  Trying to improve the qualities of the thoughts in your mind is not cutting the root. Cutting the root is relaxing and integrating into the state of unborn openness…

… There are many hooks to start us conceptualising again and relying on familiar habits.  It is at this point that we need to relax and not make effort; just stay open and trust that just as the sun ceaselessly sends out rays, the open dimension of our being will respond…

…You cannot meditate on your own nature; you can only meditate as you own nature, which is not really a meditation, it is just being there …
